About us
Energize Mid Atlantic is a registered 501(c)(3) non profit that delivers practical, affordable clean-energy solutions that help low- and moderate-income (LMI) households lower energy costs, improve home comfort and health, and build long-term energy resilience. Founded in 2019 by Dr. Joe Hillery, a retired University of Maryland professor, we focus on integrating energy efficiency with renewable energy technology. The focus is on solar, battery energy storage, and geothermal heat pumps to ensure that clean energy benefits reach households and communities that have historically faced barriers to participation.

Education and Outreach: Hosting workshops, school programs, and technical training sessions to equip individuals and workforce professionals with knowledge in clean technology
